SOLID STATE DRIVE (SSD)

SSD or solid-state drive, is a type of storage device used in computers. This non-volatile storage media stores persistent data on solid-state flash memory. SSDs replace traditional hard disk drives (HDDs) in computers and perform the same basic functions as a hard drive.

Why choose a solid state drive?

SSDs deliver faster load times for games, applications, and movies. Because of the technology they use, SSDs are lighter and better able to withstand movement and drop page. In addition, solid state drives use less energy, allowing computers to run cooler.

Laptop Power Adapter

An AC adapter, also known as a power adapter or charger, is a device that converts alternating current (AC) from a wall outlet into direct current (DC) that can be used by electronic devices such as computers, laptops, and smartphones.

Does a laptop need a power adapter?

Yes! Always ensure that you’re using the correct charger for your laptop model. Using anything else may result in overheating or damage which could potentially lead to accidents like fires or explosions.

The lifespan of an AC adapter depends on several factors including its quality, frequency of use, and storage conditions. On average, a good-quality AC adapter should last between 3-5 years with regular use.

Hard Disk Casing

Drive enclosures are typically thought of as stand-alone devices that provide power to the drive(s) and one or more types of interfaces (USB 3.0, for example). As such, a drive enclosure is synonymous with an external drive used for storage expansion for a laptop or desktop computer.

Caddy Holder HDD

A laptop hard drive caddy, also known as a hard drive tray, is a device used to add additional storage capacity to a laptop by installing a secondary hard drive or solid-state drive (SSD) in place of the laptop’s optical drive (CD/DVD drive).

Laptop hard drive caddies are typically designed to fit into the optical drive bay of a laptop and provide a slot for mounting a 2.5-inch hard drive or SSD. This allows users to have both their primary storage (usually the internal hard drive or SSD) and additional storage (the drive installed in the caddy) as secondary storage in the same laptop.

Installing a hard drive caddy can be a cost-effective way to increase storage capacity on a laptop without having to replace the existing internal drive. It can be useful for users who need more storage space for files, applications, or multimedia content.

But, it’s important to note that not all laptops support the use of hard drive caddies, latest laptops or some laptops do not have removable optical drives or may have proprietary designs that prevent the installation of caddies. If you are considering using a hard drive caddy, make sure to check your laptop’s specifications and compatibility before making a purchase.

External HDD

External hard drive is a storage device that connects to your computer through a USB (Universal Serial Bus), Firewire or Thunderbolt connection. It provides extra storage capacity for backing up your data and storing files that you do not have room for on your computer’s internal drive.

Which is better external HDD or SSD?

SSDs are generally faster and more reliable than HDDs, but are also more expensive. If you need fast boot and load times, improved overall system performance, and can afford the higher cost per gigabyte, then an SSD is worth it. If you need a larger storage capacity at a lower price, an HDD may be the better option.

Laptop Power Cable

A computer power cable is a type of electrical cable that is used to connect a computer or other electronic device to a power source, such as a wall outlet. These cables typically have a plug on one end that fits into the power outlet and a connector on the other end that plugs into the computer or device.

The power cable is responsible for providing the necessary electrical power to the computer so that it can operate. It is important to use the correct type of power cable for your computer to ensure safe and proper operation. Different countries have different types of power outlets and plugs, so it’s important to use a power cable that is compatible with the electrical standards in your region.

In addition to standard power cables, there are also specialized power cables for certain types of computers or devices, such as high-powered gaming computers or servers, which may require more robust power cables to handle the higher power demands.

Overall, the computer power cable is a crucial component for providing the necessary electrical power to your computer or electronic device, allowing it to function properly.

Power Cable laptop

A power cord, also known as an AC cord or mains cable, is a type of electrical cable used to connect electronic devices to a power source. It is designed to transmit electric current from a wall outlet to the device, providing the necessary power for its operation.

Printer Cables

Printer cable refers to the cable that carries data between a computer and a printer. There are many different types of cables, for example: Serial: RS-232, EIA-422. Parallel. FireWire.

Also known as USB standard B connector, the B style connector is designed for USB peripherals, such as printer, upstream port on hub, or other larger peripheral devices.

Can I use printer without cable?

Yes! It’s working for wireless printers and very easy to set up on any PC or Mac. And, depending on the printer, you can even print wirelessly from your Android, iPhone, or iPad.

Video Graphic Array Cable (VGA)

VGA cables (Video Graphics Array) carry analogue video signals and are typically designated for supporting video resolutions up to and including 640 x 480.

High-Definition Multimedia Interface Cable (HDMI)

HDMI is a widely adopted and widely used standard for connecting audio-video devices, such as TVs, computer monitors, and Blu-ray players. HDMI supports high-definition video and audio, and is supported by most consumer electronics manufacturers.

Why do I need HDMI?

HDMI is renowned for its video quality, but it also can carry audio without the need for multiple cables. HDMI supports Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD for 7.1-channel sound for loss-less, theatre-quality audio. HDMI 1.4 also supports audio return channel, which sends sound from your TV tuner to your receiver.

LAN Network Cable

A LAN cable, or Ethernet cable, is a physical cable that connects devices to a local area network (LAN). LAN cables usually connect computers, printers, routers, and other network devices. They are also used to connect gaming consoles and other devices that require a wired connection. LAN cables are often also referred to as ethernet cords or internet cables.

Why do I need a LAN cable?
